RELEASE: Democrats Serve PAC endorses Sabrina Bousbar for Congress (FL-13)

Highlighting her public service background, the national organization plans to actively support Sabrina Bousbar in her 2024 election.

Washington DC. (January 30, 2024) – Today, Democrats Serve, a national organization supporting Democrats with public service backgrounds, announced the endorsement of Sabrina’s congressional bid in Florida’s 13th District.

Democrats Serve’s executive director, Brett Broesder, stated that Bousbar’s public service experience, serving as Senior Advisor for the Administration of Strategic Preparedness and Response at the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, makes her an excellent example of someone who can excel as a candidate and policymaker.

"Public service isn't just a job for Sabrina Bousbar; it's her way of life," said Broesder.

Sabrina Bousbar noted that she’s thrilled to receive Democrats Serve’s support.

“As someone who was born and raised in this community, the fight for Florida’s future is deeply personal to me. We deserve fresh, bold leadership focused on actually serving and delivering for the people of Pinellas. I’m running for Congress to leverage my public service experience so that every American has the freedom to thrive in healthy, safe communities – with the education, healthcare, housing, and jobs that every family needs and deserves. Florida’s 13th District is in Pinellas County and includes parts of St Petersburg and Clearwater. Cook Political Report has rated this race as one of the most competitive in 2024.
