Democrats Serve PAC Launches Campaign Supporting Stefan Pryor in RI Treasurer’s Race

Milford, Conn. (August 18, 2022) Democrats Serve, a national hybrid political action committee (PAC) that supports Democrats running for office with public service backgrounds, announced a planned TV and digital ad campaign in Rhode Island’s State Treasurer’s race supporting endorsed candidate Stefan Pryor ahead of the September 13, 2022, Democratic primary.

Democrats Serve’s planned program in support of Pryor’s state treasurer bid will include (but won’t be limited to):

  • TV ads in key cable television markets

Brett Broesder, the group’s founding executive director, noted that Pryor — a longtime public service pro — has demonstrated the skills and values to ensure he excels as Rhode Island’s next treasurer.

“Nobody knows public service like Stefan Pryor,” said Broesder. “He has a proven track record of fighting for Rhode Island families, growing the state’s economy, and doing right by taxpayers. That’s why we’re thrilled to be supporting his candidacy.”

Stefan Pryor is one of more than 60 candidates the organization has endorsed so far in 2022. Other Rhode Island-based endorsements made by the organization this year include Seth Magaziner for Congress and Xaykham “Xay” Khamsyvoravong for Newport City Council.
