Highlighting his public service background, the national organization plans to support Jerry Ramos in his 2024 election actively.

Washington DC. (March 19, 2024) – Today, Democrats Serve, a national organization supporting Democrats with public service backgrounds, announced the endorsement of Jerry’s sheriff bid in Hall County, Georgia. 

Democrats Serve’s executive director, Brett Broesder, stated that Ramos’ public service experience –serving as a police officer, deputy sheriff, command officer, and police chief at local and federal levels, as well as being a U.S. Army Veteran— makes him an excellent example of someone who can excel as a candidate and policymaker.

“From police officer to chief of police, Jerry’s commitment to public service is second to none,” said Broesder. “Jerry has a proven track record fighting for the people. Democrats Serve is excited to support his bid for Sheriff.”

Jerry noted that he’s thrilled to receive Democrats Serve’s support.

“I am overjoyed to have secured the trust and endorsement of Democrats Serve for my Sheriff candidacy in Hall County, Georgia, and I couldn't be happier about it. This crucial endorsement and partnership validates those who have served in public service and seek to continue serving their communities.”
