Highlighting his public service background, PAC launches new TV ad and plans a six-figure spend supporting Mahmood.

Milford, Conn. (October 28, 2022) — Democrats Serve — a new national organization that supports Democrats running for office with public service backgrounds — announced an independent expenditure campaign in California’s 40th Congressional District in support of endorsed candidate Asif Mahmood that plans to invest six-figures ahead of the General Election on November 8, 2022.

The Democrats Serve program — including a new video ad (“Decision”) — supporting Mahmood’s congressional bid will include:

• CTV ads aimed at persuadable General Election voters. 

Brett Broesder, the organization’s founding executive director, noted that Mahmood — with an extensive public service background — has demonstrated the skills and values that will make him excel as a candidate and policymaker.
